Jonathan Newsome, One the best Defensive Ends in the Country

Defensive End prospect Jonathan Newsome from Cleveland Glenville High School is one of the best defensive end/linebacker prospects in the country.

Defensive End prospect Jonathan Newsome from Cleveland Glenville High School is one of the best defensive end/linebacker prospects in the country. He explained to us the importance of the game to him and how he excels at it. “My best attributes as a football player is the passion I bring to the game. When I'm on the field I’m in a whole different zone. Its way more then a game to me. I put my heart in every play.”

In addition to love for the game Newsome is a physically impressive player. He runs well in the 4.7 forty range, possesses great lateral quickness, and is 6’3” 225lbs. As a junior his statistics were impressive. “I ended the year with 72 tackles and 13 sacks. It was a good year, but I can always improve.” He explained to us.
