Greenwood coach Shell Dula will field another strong team in 2008 and the Eagles will feature two of the state's premier prospects in DE Sam Montgomery (6-5 240) and DB D.J. Swearinger (6-1 205). Montgomery totaled 65 tackles last season with 15 sacks and 20 tackles for loss. "He plays awfully hard," Dula said. "He has a motor that runs. He plays every play full speed. He has good strength and extremely good quickness. God has blessed him with a big body. He can easily go 280 pounds and not lose any speed. He's only played one year of football so the potential for him is unreal." Montgomery has offers from USC, Clemson, Alabama, North Carolina and NC State. He's made an unofficial visit to Clemson. North Carolina wants him to visit this weekend and he might unless he has a basketball game. USC and Georgia also have invited him for visits. Dula said Montgomery has no favorites rightn ow. "He's enjoyed getting involved in this process," he said. "He's looking for a place where the team concept is foremost."
