Hughes had 4-5 years at a military academy so I'm sure that helped somewhat with discipline. Also, if you watched his team while he was there, you would have seen a team that played with a lot of structure. Often they would hold the ball on the perimeter for 20-30 seconds without even trying to get in the scoring zone. It was to a lesser degree tantamount to the way Milwaukee Vincent played last year with Diante Garrett practically stalling at times. The styles are dissimilar to what Lacy plays at Bay View.
