Florida State is wasting no time getting a jump on its in-state rivals.
The Seminoles, fresh off a verbal commitment from 5-star DT Jacobbi McDaniel last week, added No. 2 to their 2009 recruiting class Monday.
Tallahassee Godby wide receiver Willie Downs gave his verbal pledge to offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher this afternoon.
Downs, a 4-star prospect according to Rivals.com, hauled in 44 catches for 879 yards and 10 TDs last season.
