The Badgers aren't interested in Lacy because of his grades and his size. Also supposedly Wilson somewhat desires to play with Lacy at the next level. I'm not a big believer in package deals, but there was a good shot they would both end up at in state Marquette anyways because of style and close proximity. Lacy could be a Cubillan type for the Golden Eagles.
I think the ideal position breakdown for the Badger class would be: PG/SG who can snipe from the outside, athletic SG/SF who can guard opposing wings at a high level, and an all purpose SF/PF. Where it becomes complicated is facilitating in state studs like Flavien Davis and Vander Blue in '10. Because they'd fit in two of those categories. So either you wait and risk being short in those areas during the '09-'10 seasons, you take them anyways and create a surplus but shortage in other areas, or you neglect in state talent once again in '10. It's a quandary but somewhat of a good one to have because of all the talent seemingly at our disposal. This is where Bo Ryan earns his money.
