Size was the most prominent feature of the football recruiting class Northwestern unveiled Wednesday. That's because of the 20 players from 10 states, five are offensive linemen lured from area high schools.
There was 6-foot-8-inch, 310-pound Neal Deiters of York, who on tape looks big enough to block the sun as well as defenders. There was 6-6, 300-pound Jeff Radek of Neuqua Valley, whose cousin John Lynch was a nine-time All-Pro safety for Tampa Bay and Denver.
