UW football: Two recruits from South commit

Smith, 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, was expected to visit last weekend. He had 40 tackles and five interceptions, including three he returned for touchdowns, as a senior. He also caught 22 passes for 470 yards and five touchdowns. His time in the 40-yard dash is listed at 4.5 seconds.
He reported a core grade-point average of 3.6 and a 1450 in the SAT. He was ranked as the No. 81 cornerback nationally by Scout.com and reportedly had 11 offers. His other favorites included Iowa, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Louisville.
