Jody Demling - Recruiting
Quote:
Bowling Green tight end Ryan Wallace picked up an offer from the University of Louisville this morning, the day after the Purples lost in the Class 3-A state final.
The 6-foot-5, 217-pound Wallace said he will now consider the Cardinals, along with Rutgers, Wake Forest and Colorado.
"I don't know now, I'll just have to wait and see", Wallace said. "I have always been a Louisville fan and it's a place that I have always wanted to play."
Wallace said he'll visit Rutgers next weekend and then might narrow his list down even more from the four schools currently on it. He was also considering Georgia Tech but the Yellowjackets hired Paul Johnson as their coach and Wallace said he didn't think the wishbone attack would be a good fit.
The interest from U of L started about a week ago with calls from recruiting coordinator Greg Nord. His father and Bowling Green coach Kevin Wallace also talked with U of L head coach Steve Kragthorpe this week.
