USC Strengthens Position With Lawrence

WR T.J. Lawrence (6-2 190) of Lakeland, FL made an unofficial visit to USC for the Florida game. Lawrence was favoring the Gamecocks before the visit, and despite the Gamecocks dissapointing loss to the Gators, Lawrence said Sunday he still has USC at the top of his list. "They didn't win but that's not going to affect my decision," Lawrence said. "I stayed for the whole game. USC is the leader. They were out front before I even came there. I like any team that passes the ball and I feel they pass it more than anybody." Lawrence said he spoke briefly with Steve Spurrier before the game. "He didn't say much, he was really focused on the game," Lawrence said. Lawrence will make an official visit to Virginia Tech this coming weekend. He is going to Florida for their game with Florida State. He will set other official visits with USC, Miami and Florida. This season Lawrence has caught 58 passes for over 700 yards and 12 touchdowns.
