NEWTON FALLS - Junior running back Kyle Stadelmyer scored two touchdowns, rushed for 142 yards in 15 carries and broke three school records to lead Girard?s win in a Trumbull Athletic Conference game.
Stadelmyer's TDs covered 63 and 2 yards, while his 142 rushing yards gave him a school-record 2,802 for his career, surpassing Jeff Harrison?s 2,720 yards from 1968-71.
Stadelmyer also broke single-season school records for total TDs (27) and rushing TDs (24).
Last week, he broke the school career total TD record with 47.
