"He's just a once-in-a-lifetime athlete with as good of instincts as I've been around in more than 20 years of coaching. Everyone in the country wants film on him. Visiting Wisconsin Saturday

9/10

Quote:
ESPNU 150 Watch List junior wide receiver DaVaris Daniels (Vernon Hills, Ill./Vernon Hills) has been a varsity starter on offense since his freshman season. He also started at free safety during his sophomore season and is again playing those two positions this year, as well as some quarterback.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder caught 30 plus passes and had nine touchdowns his sophomore season. He intercepted four passes.

"I'm mostly being recruited as a wide receiver," Daniels said. "I get letters from a lot of schools. Tennessee, Illinois, Miami, Florida State, UCLA, Notre Dame, pretty much everybody is sending mail."

Daniels is drawing more than just attention from recruiters. In the past week he has received written scholarship offers from Illinois, Miami, Wisconsin and Nebraska.

"I'm going to Wisconsin's game this Saturday," Daniels said. "I'm pretty much interested in any school, but I kind of like Miami a lot out of the schools that have offered."
