Kings recruitment picking up steam - ESPN

Quote:
To say Serra (Gardena, Calif.) is loaded with underclass talent would be a huge understatement. Everyone knows about athlete Robert Woods and sophomore wide out George Farmer. Now Serra has another player out of the class of 2011 with an early offer.

Jason Gibson is a 6-3, 210 pound defensive end who had a big sophomore year. He racked up 67 tackles and 10 sacks to earn 1st team all-league and all-CIF honors.

"He had a great year despite missing three games with an injury," Serra coach Chuck Kimbell said. "Jim Harbaugh from Stanford was just by here this week and they offered him a scholarship. Stanford has already offered Robert and George and all three have the grades and the talent to play for anyone.

"Notre Dame was by here yesterday and they offered Woods and like our two sophomores as well. They also like our junior running back, Domonique McGee, so we're excited about the talent we have coming back next year."
