From GBW...verbally offered by UM...talks about his interest in RR's system and how honored he was to be offered so early...says he will probably jump on the UM offer.

Dr. Phillips Junior RB Dee Hart still favors Michigan in the early going - Varsity Orlando

Quote:
Dr. Phillips running back Demetrius "Dee" Hart told the Detroit Free-Press on Wednesday that he still favors Michigan and even said "I don't think I will commit now, but I will commit later to Michigan."

Well it's early and Hart could still change his mind, which prospects often do, but he sounds quite confident. Hart also currently holds offers from Notre Dame, Duke, Georgia Tech, Stanford, FIU, FAU and Florida State.

The 5-foot-8, 172-pounder lead the Panthers in rushing this season with 243 yards and four touchdowns on 53 carries. Hart is ranked No. 15 on the Sentinel's Florida Top 100 for the Class of 2011.

Demetrius Hart injures knee in Dr. Phillips' victory - Varsity Orlando

Quote:
Dr. Phillips got two touchdown passes and a touchdown run from Nick Patti, 89 yards rushing and a touchdown from Dee Hart, two touchdown catches and a 52-yard punt return for another score from Kenny Shaw. Hart left the game with a knee injury with about three minutes left. Dr. Phillips Coach Dale Salapa said it was a "very minor sprain of the MCL."

Salapa added: "They will probably put him in an inflatable cast for a couple of days. It's not severe. He's going to be fine. We don't know for sure if he'll play against Oak Ridge Friday or not. If he doesn't practice by Wednesday he probably won't play. If that's the case we'll hold him for a week."
