Marvin loved his visit to Columbus but says Michigan is still his leader. He says Coach Johnson offered him verbally while on his tour.

By Simmons...will be at the USC Rising Star Camp next week. Plans to camp at Louisville as well as make it back to OSU and UM in July. Says he grew up a fan of the Trojans. Also interested in Louisville because of Coach English.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Top Gun Showcase: Sunday Hot 11
Quote:
MARVIN ROBINSON
6-1, 190, LB Eagle Lake (Fla.) Lake Region
Robinson admits he didn't have the best outing earlier this summer at the USC Rising Star Camp. Along with being injured, he just couldn't get in the zone. But he was there on Sunday, making big play after big play in drills and then in one-on-one battles. He was the one guy who was consistently able to hang with both the physical and speedy backs in the camp.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Top Gun: Linebacker/D-Back evaluations
Quote:
MARVIN ROBINSON
6-2, 205, OLB Eagle Lake (FL) Lake Region 2010
Assets: Has a tremendous burst and excellent ball skills.
What was most impressive at camp: For a guy who is making the change from safety to linebacker, he sure looked a natural.
Areas for improvement: He just needs to get reps at his new position because all the tools are there.
On the Hoof: Has good height, long arms and wide shoulders. Robinson's frame will fill out and enable him to play all three linebacker positions.

My Take: DBs are the most difficult position to watch from a sideline view, but the last two clips on this short series show the athleticism that has coaches chasing Marvin.

ESPN - Midwest Recruiting Blog
Quote:
The Ohio State-Michigan game is a long way off and just about all of the recruiting battles between the two are over as far as class of 2009 prospects are concerned. But a big battle is brewing between the two rivals for a standout Class of 2010 prospect. Safety Marvin Robinson (Eagle Lake, Fla./Lake Region) already has written scholarship offers from: Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Boston College, Tennessee and Florida International.
According to Lake Region coach Stephen Reynolds, Robinson's top three choices in no particular order are Michigan, Ohio State and Georgia.
