USC is one of the offers for DL Max Beaulieu (6-3 235) of Ft. Lauderdale and the Gamecocks have captured his interest. "I really like South Carolina," Beaulieu said. "I really like coach Hunter. I just like watching them on TV. I want to check it out and see if I fit there. Coach Hunter said they are excited about me." Beaulieu also has offers from Tulane, Buffalo, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Arkansas, Purdue, Syracuse, Colorado State, Marshall and Wisconsin. He's also hearing from Florida State, South Florida, Connecticut, Rutgers and LSU. Beaulieu has camped at Rutgers and will go to a camp at LSU this weekend. And he might go to a camp at Tennessee. He says one of his official visits will be Purdue on October 24th. He said USC and Wake Forest probably will get official visits as well. He does not have a favorite. Beaulieu says he plays inside and outside and draws a lot of double teams. Last season he had 32 tackles with 12 tackles for loss and 5 sacks.
