Favors is a productive tight end in the passing game. He has solid size and looks on film to carry good bulk. He has good hands and displays the ability to consistently catch the ball with them and bring it in to his body. He displays the ability to go up and get the ball and extend his arms to make a catch. Displays good concentration and the ability to track the ball. He has solid straight-line speed, but is best suited for the short-to-intermediate passing game.

"All five (offers) are in writing," Favors said. "I like all five, but so far I'm really looking at Colorado and Syracuse.
"At Syracuse the tight ends are not that tall, about 6-foot-3. And they have a new coach coming in. The Colorado campus looks great and I'd like to get away from home a little."
The 6-4, 225-pound Favors said those two schools are tied at the top of his list. However, there is at least one other school Favors hopes to receive a scholarship offer from.
"The school I'd really like to go to is Wisconsin," Favors said. "I like the way they use the tight end."
Favors said he would like to select a college around the middle of the football season.

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."
