Baublitz awaits offer -
Quote:
Some college coaches don’t need to see any more. Baublitz already has scholarship offers from West Virginia, Pitt, Clemson, Boston College and Stanford.
“He’s not real flashy, but he is consistently around the ball,” Cook said. “He’s a big kid who can run. He’s a quiet leader.”
This season, Baublitz attended two Penn State games as well as games at Michigan, Notre Dame, Virginia and Pitt.
“I went to the Penn State-Indiana game and the Penn State-Michigan game,” Baublitz said. “It was really neat. The atmosphere was awesome. The fans were great. I talked to Larry Johnson. Now coach (Mike) McQueary is recruiting me.”
The Nittany Lions have some time to continue evaluating Baublitz. He is not planning to select a college in the near future.
“I’m pretty open,” Baublitz said. “I’ve been to all the schools that have offered except Stanford. I want to see some others. I’ll visit Stanford, Cal, UCLA and Illinois this summer.”

By Sean Fitz. Kyle visited PSU twice for practices this last month and has basically worked hard training all summer. He says PSU coach Larry Johnson called him the first day coaches were allowed, and that he will be at PSU this weekend for the Akron game. Kyle plans to enroll at PSU in January and talks about how he loaded up on classes since his freshman year, just in case he wanted to graduate early.

By Sean Fitz. Through eight games Kyle has 10 receptions (88 yards & 2 TDs) and 84 fumbles (FR and blocked punt). Kyle thinks there has been clear improvement with the PSU defensive line and talks about it....discusses his decision to enroll early.

By Sean Fitz. Kyle took his official visit this past weekend and says it was great.....got to ride the blue bus to the stadium, tour the facilities and check out the locker room, and talk to everybody. Right now it is DE and he is looking at No. 84, but he'll see how it goes....wants to play DE. Kyle finishes his senior campaign with 123 tackles, one forced fumble, one interception returned for a touchdown, and 2 blocked punts....ad 15 catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns on offense.
