Gators first to offer Lynden Trail
Class of 2010 ESPNU 150 Watch List defensive end Lynden Trail received his first offer from Florida, affiliate Web site GatorCountry.com reports.
He said, "Florida is in my top two. I like Florida. I want to stay in-state and be close to family. I love Miami. I am keeping my eyes open for that letter."

Gators are Trail's No. 1 choice - ESPN
Quote:
Trail said that, in order, the schools he is considering are Florida, Florida State, Miami (Fla.), USC, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, South Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina.
The Gators are the leaders, but that's no surprise considering that Trail was on the record as saying that Florida was in the lead in the following report from the Miami Under Armour Combine that was written on Feb 17: UM, FSU, UF on most recruits' short list.
Florida got in the mix early and that's a big reason why the Gators are No. 1.
"I didn't think I was that good, but they saw the potential in me," Trail said. "They are going to ride it out with me and I am going to ride it out with them as my No. 1 school."
The Seminoles and Hurricanes also have a good shot with Trail. It would be surprising if he did not end up at one of those three (UF, FSU or UM) programs. If the Canes push harder, they can make a strong move as historically they've been very successful at Booker T. Washington.
