By A. Trieu. Gainer says that he is going to pick up an offer at Central Michigan tomorrow, and that he is being recruited by every BigTen school except Ohio State.

From the MSU site...Central Michigan has offered, joining Indiana. Has been to junior days at Michigan State, Michigan, Purdue, Indiana, Northwestern, Iowa and Wisconsin and talks about his contact with the MSU staff.

By A Trieu. Committed to Indiana. Gainer says it has always been a dream to play with his cousin Kenny Watkins (who verballed to Indiana today as well) and is excited to get to play with him in college. He has been Hoosier lean for awhile, and is excited about his choice.

From BWI...visited PSU this weekend...PSU has not offered but he was amazed by his visit...says he is not decommitting from Indiana yet but is opening things back up to make sure he made the right choice.

From the IU site. Chester says that after last week's visit with teammates Gainer and Watkins (who decommitted from IU) he feels that both are looking hard at re-committing and that Indiana has the edge.

Would you like to see an early signing period? I'd say no. Nowadays guys want to commit early. I changed my mind late (mid-December). Some might sign and then you have second thoughts.

Why not U-M? My whole family is U-M or Michigan State. When I went (visited) to Michigan some coaches were cool, others were standoffish. It didn't seem like they wanted me as much as Minnesota and Michigan State did. It came down to those two.
