From the UNC site. Nixon's coach says Xavier is pretty much down to Florida, LSU, Miami and North Carolina. Even though he has only made an official visit to Florida, his coach isn't sure that there will be any more visits made.

High School OT.com - Nixon narrows his list to 3 schools

Quote:
While speaking with Xavier Nixon's father, Command Sergeant Major Kenneth Nixon, on Sunday via web cam from Kandahar, Afghanistan, WRAL learned that Xavier has narrowed his list of colleges to three.

In no particular order, his list now includes North Carolina, Florida and LSU.

The senior offensive tackle is considered one of the best players in the country, and some recruiting analysts have deemed him the No. 1 player in his class.

Nixon will play in the Army All-American Bowl in January, and he has been named a finalist for the National Player of the Year award. He has already been named the Gatorade Player of the Year in North Carolina.

Gary Fowler, the head coach of the North Carolina Shrine Bowl team, picked Nixon to represent North Carolina in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolina's on Dec. 20, but Nixon had to withdraw in order to travel to New York to accept an award.
