WR Larry Raper (5-10 160) of Shelby, NC, who committed to Clemson in September, 2007, has publicly decommitted from the Tigers in the wake of the Tommy Bowden resignation. Raper told CUTigers.com Wednesday night of his decision. "I am going to decommit from Clemson," Raper said, "I want to look at other schools. I really like Clemson but I want to see what else is out there." Raper joins DB Craig Loston and DB Devonte Holloman as recruits who have decommitted from Clemson since Bowden's announcement.

BY A Bone. Raper says that South Carolina is coming at the hardest, with North Carolina, NC State and Clemson also coming on strong. He's looking for a good environment at whatever school he chooses.

ATH Larry Raper (5-11 165) of Shelby, NC probably won't sign Wednesday because of recent interest he's drawn from Wake Forest. Raper said he talked to a Demon Deacon recruiter Tuesday and is waiting to hear back regarding a scholarship offer. Raper said if Wake doesn't offer, he'll sign with South Carolina State.
