White is solid high school tackle that will play guard at the next level. He is a strong 6' 5" and 290 pound physical front-liner. Competitive player who likes to play hardball. Stance is a little awkward; tends to have a big stagger at times. Needs to square up stance; too long of a first step results when staggered. A stalemate situation occurs due to feet not being squared on initial contact. Gets to level two without any problem and makes solid hit on defender. Does a good job of locking on to defender most of the time. Displays athleticism in reach blocking wide defensive linemen. Sometimes loses base when feet narrow up and legs get locked out. Keeps good pad level when double teaming but has to be careful not to be too angular. Just a little slow when pulling; stagger stance related. Tough guy who gives great effort and plays in a tremendous high school program. Gets a little too aggressive on pass protection; should kick back and get in proper power angles before making initial contact with pass rusher. Solid on quick set passing; has good body position and gives good jarring punch to stop defender. White is a fine player who simply has to play with better leverage and be consistent with his stance and footwork.

High school sports: Colerain junior has Louisville offer

Colerain junior OL Brandon White has been offered by Louisville, Colerain football coach Tom Bolden told me today.

It is White's first offer. He is listed at 6 feet 5 1/2 inches and 315 pounds.
