By Kevin Noon... Interesting read on Josh. He addresses some rumors that have been out there recently (committing to FSU, not making OSU's camp, recruiting for WVU). Josh says he and his mom will be in Columbus on 7/19 and that the visit could go a long way towards determining his destination.

From the ND site...Jenkins still talks to Coach Latina and Coach Weis. Will definitely visit FSU and OSU.
IMHO and having spoken with some people with solid info on Jenkins several times, I would say Jenkins could end up a couple different places but ND isn't one of them.

Mom loved tOSU but Josh says he is not likely to decommit in the next few days. He says tOSU and WVU are even and Mom says it is his decision.

Parkersburg's Jenkins focused on the football season
by Rich Stevens
Daily Mail sportswriter
Parkersburg two-way lineman Josh Jenkins was rolling up I-77 on the West Virginia Turnpike the Saturday before the beginning of practice, thinking about what was on his mind most of the summer.
"I'm itching to get back at it," said Jenkins, whose Parkersburg Big Reds won the Class AAA state football championship last December with a 34-6 victory over Martinsburg. "I've been ready to play since summer began."
The hottest prospect of the class of 2008 hasn't had much of a reprieve off the field. Even if he took a week off from cell phones, text messages and criticism while spending a week at Myrtle Beach, S.C., prior to the start of football season, Jenkins has had little rest.

Bucknuts - Bill Kurelic - 08/14/07
Josh will make an official visit to Ohio State during the first weekend of December (post-season); he will also make unofficial visits to Columbus to watch the Northwestern and Wisconsin games.
Josh also wants to take official visits to West Virginia, Florida, Florida State, and possibly a fifth school yet to be determined.

Is Josh Jenkins West Virginia's best high school player?
By Mike Casazza
Daily Mail sportswriter
MORGANTOWN -- This is the space for editorializing, but it isn't much of an opinion.
Josh Jenkins is the best high school football player in the state.
In fact, it's probably not even really close this year.
The Parkersburg High senior verbally committed to West Virginia University for the Class of 2008, where he is considered a top 100 prospect nationally.
Such schools as Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Alabama expressed their agreement by offering scholarships.

Josh will be in Columbus tomorrow and will visit officially in December. He is also planning to set officials with Florida, FSU, Vandy, and WVU. tOSU and WVU are his top two and are dead even.
