Bell Taking It Slowly
By Matt Long
DB T'Sharvan Bell (6-1 170) has offers from numerous schools across the Southeast, including Auburn, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Clemson, NC State, Nebraska, Kansas State, Wisconsin, Central Florida, Indiana, Cincinnati, and South Florida, among others. However, the talented cornerback, who had 8 interceptions last season, has spent most of the summer in his home state. "He went to a camp at Auburn," said his head coach Jeff Rolson, "He's been to a couple of showcases around Florida, but that's all I know of." Bell is interested in Clemson and wants to take a visit there, but he does not have any officials planned yet. "Hopefully, he'll do it as soon as possible," Rolson said, but added that he did not know what schools Bell was considering most. DL Coach Chris Rumph is recruiting Bell for Clemson.

Kissimmee Osceola 25, Lakeland 21 (Final)
By Roy Fuoco
THE LEDGER
There are no more miracle finishes for Lakeland.
After tasting only the sweetness of victory for more than three years - and for a state-record 53 consecutive victories - the Dreadnaughts must now swallow the bitterness of defeat.

The Kowboys, who trailed 21-7 entering the fourth quarter, got within two on an 80-yard scoring drive. T'Sharvin Bell had a 33-yard pass to Momo Thomas on the drive, and twice, Lakeland penalties gave Osceola a first down.
Bell later connected with Brandon Burden for a touchdown with 5:52 remaining. After the missed two-point conversion, the Kowboys still trailed by two.
Osceola's defense, which had been starting to wilt, forced Lakeland into a fourth-and-20 on the next possesion, and Thomas returned the ensuing punt to the Lakeland 37.
The Kowboys drove to the 1 then Bell scored the game-winner with 24 seconds left.

Bell Gives USC Visit Strong Review
By Phil Kornblut
DB T'Sharvan Bell (6-1 170) of Seminole, FL made his official visit to USC over the weekend and found a lot to his liking. "I liked the (proposed) academic center and the way they do things," Bell said. "The coaches are pretty cool. I felt comfortable with the coaches. That stood out the most. They told me they really wanted me and need me." Bell also has visited Clemson and the USC visit gave him something to compare. "As far as feeling better about a college, I'd say South Carolina," Bell said. "The comfort level is better." Bell will have another school to compare things two next weekend when he visits Auburn. He said he might take another official visit after Christmas before making a decision.

It wasn't supposed to end this way.
Kissimmee Osceola quarterback T'Sharvan Bell was supposed to have the ball in his hands.
He could handle winning or losing, but standing on the sidelines perched on crutches was an especially painful way to end his high school football career.
"It really hurt," Bell said. "I just wish there was something more I could do to help my team."
Bell suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in the first quarter last week at Jacksonville Bartram Trail, leaving him stranded on the sidelines for the state-title tilt. He is slated to have surgery to repair the injury Tuesday.
