Virginia Beach wide receiver Randall Dunn didn't appear on the national recruiting scene until this season, but the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder has a busy six weeks ahead of him.

He was scheduled to visit Penn State this past weekend, but the bad weather cancelled those plans. Dunn plans to reschedule, but has visits set up for North Carolina on Jan. 11, Virginia Tech on Jan. 18 and Virginia on Jan. 25.

The three-star prospect, who before this season had only played in five games in high school, added offers from Penn State and North Carolina recently. A big reason was his senior season in which he caught 36 passes for 880 yards and 15 touchdowns.

"They just offered me in the last weekend," Dunn told HokieHaven.com. "Both are pretty big offers and definitely make my decision that much harder, especially when I thought it was getting easy. I like the fact UNC is definitely a program on the rise, while Penn State has so much tradition."

Penn State still seems to be in the running for three-star wide receiver Randall Dunn, a teammate of Davis.

Dunn was scheduled to visit Penn State on Dec. 14, but had to cancel because of bad weather. He didn't reschedule and is slated to visit Virginia Tech this weekend, North Carolina next weekend and Virginia on Feb. 1. That hasn't stopped Penn State offensive line coach Bill Kenney from calling.

"I just talked to Coach Kenney (Jan. 9)," Dunn told UConnReport.com. "We're still trying to figure out a date for (a visit). It might work out."

The Cavaliers may also land an official visit this week from one of the state's top wideouts. Randall Dunn, a three-star from Ocean Lakes High in Virginia Beach, scored 13 touchdowns in just his second season playing football.

Dunn met with his lead recruiter Bob Price, Virginia's recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach, and offensive coordinator Mike Groh at Ocean Lakes on Tuesday. Later in the day, Dunn eliminated West Virginia from consideration, making it a three-program race for his services between Virginia Tech, Virginia and North Carolina.
