Jacquies is considering visits to Nebraska, Minnesota, and Missouri but is not sure. He still has Michigan State as his leader with Missouri a close second.
SOC's Smith adds A&M to his list: South Oak Cliff defensive end Jacquies Smith said Friday that he is considering taking a visit to Texas A&M next weekend.
Smith, No. 61 on the Texas 100, said he would decide between A&M and Minnesota for next weekend's visit sometime early in the week.
Smith talked to new A&M defensive coordinator Reggie Herring by telephone Thursday. Smith said Herring is supposed to make an on-campus visit to South Oak Cliff on Monday. The News reported Thursday that the Aggies are upping their recruiting efforts in the Dallas area.
Smith, who originally committed to Baylor, has already made a December visit to Michigan State. He is also considering Missouri and Nebraska.
South Oak Cliff defensive end Jacquies Smith (6-4, 220) picked up an offer from Texas A&M on Tuesday, adding to offers from Nebraska and Kentucky. As of now, Smith has three officials visits in the next two weeks, to Nebraska (today), Missouri (Sunday) and A&M (Jan. 25).
From the Nebraska site. Smith enjoyed his visit to Nebraska (other than the cold) and said he got along well with the players there. The Nebraska coaches told him they could play him at either DE or OLB, which was fine with him. He will now visit Missouri followed by Texas A&M.

South Oak Cliff defensive end Jacquies Smith said Friday night that he has orally committed to Missouri.
Oral commitments are nonbinding. The first day a recruit can sign a national letter of intent is Feb. 6.
Smith (6-4, 220), who originally committed to Baylor, also visited Michigan State and Nebraska. He canceled a visit to Texas A&M after deciding on Missouri. Smith is No. 22 on Rivals.com's Texas 100.
