Rollins Talks About SC Trip

Chaminade-Madonna LB Tarik Rollins (6-2 205) of Hollywood, FL holds more than 20 offers from schools all over the country. "I've got offers from South Carolina, Clemson Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Michigan, and a lot of others," Rollins said. Rollins was in the state of South Carolina for a pair of visits earlier this month. "I went to South Carolina in the morning," he said, "I got to see the weight room and we met with Coach Spurrier and some of the other coaches." RB Coach Robert Gillespie is recruiting Rollins for the Gamecocks. "Later that same day, I was up at Clemson," Rollins added, "They showed me around the campus, and I met with the coaches and an academic advisor." LB Coach David Blackwell is the Tigers' recruiter. Although Rollins has not been to any camps this summer, he has made quite a few visits. He has been to Wake Forest, NC State, Georgia Tech, and LSU and plans to make another long trip to the Midwest in a few weeks. "I'm going to Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Purdue," Rollins said. Rollins said that he currently does not have any favorites and does not have a date for narrowing down his list, "It's going to be soon, but I don't know when."

Rollins ID's A Top Six

LB Tarik Rollins (6-2 205) of Hollywood, FL is not closing the door on any of the schools which have offered him, but he says six are out front of the pack right now...Clemson, Wake Forest, NC State, LSU, Michigan State and Wisconsin. "All six are recruiting me very hard," Rollins said. "I'm getting mail from Clemson every day and some e-mails." Some of his other offers include USC, Michigan, Purdue, Indiana, Georgia Tech and NC State. He does not have an individual favorite nor a timeframe for making his decision.

Rollins To Make Clemson Official Visit

LB Tarik Rollins (6-2 205) of Hollywood, FL will make an official visit to Clemson for the Florida State game. Rollins will arrive on cam;pus Sunday and depart Tuesday. He will make the visit alone. Rollins made an unofficial visit to Clemson earlier in the summer and spent time touring the campus and checking out the academics. This visit will be about football. "I'm looking forward to the gameday atmosphere," Rollins said. Rollins also has set an official visit with Wake Forest for September 7th. The rest of his favorites are NC State, LSU, Michigan State and Wisconsin. He has not decided on his other visits and he does not have a favorite.
