Cyrus Gray says Notre Dame has been recruiting him the hardest. "They have great prestige and I like the coaches a lot," he said. "Coach Charlie Weis has done big things in the NFL and I have a lot of respect for him as a human and a coach. He talks about character first and says that's what makes someone a Notre Dame football player. I like the team they have. They all seem like great guys."

Cyrus is excited about visiting Notre Dame and also has trips planned to Florida, Cal and Louisville. He is still considering Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Florida, Louisville, Penn State, Cal, Miami, Kansas, Oklahoma State, and Arizona.

By D. Sandhop. Gray says that due to playing QB some this offseason, he feels his vision and ability to see the whole field greatly improved this season. Gray's top seven includes Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Louisville, Kansas, Cal, Florida, And Notre Dame. Gray says that Sherman being a new coach at Texas A&M may hurt them a litte, due to the fact that he knows the other coaches.
