Darrell Simmons continues to lean toward a commitment to Miami.
But the 6-foot-1, 201-pound Simmons is contemplating a visit to defending national champion Florida.
Simmons, who made the trek to Gainesville during his junior season, is a big fan of Florida coach
Urban Meyer.
“He’s just a great coach,” said Simmons, who has offers from programs such as Alabama, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State and Tennessee. “He’s very enthusiastic.”
Simmons said he’s not down on the Canes following their blowout loss to Oklahoma last weekend.
“You can’t win every game,” he said. “Maybe I can go down there and help them.”
