When it comes to working hard week in and week out and putting in a solid effort to improve, Harris has done that consistently after a slow start this fall and it paid off with a big time performance this past weekend. Normally we try and give the weekly M.V.P. honors to someone from a team that won so as not to lose sight of how important the team is but Harris's performance was significantly superior to anyone else this past weekend so he gets the nod. Not only was he efficient as he was 9 of 17 from the field, but the key was he has really stepped up his floor impact and this past weekend he collected 14 rebounds, kicked out 5 assists, blocked a shot, and grabbed 2 steals. That's something we stress day after day in the BOC is one's ability to contribute without the basketball and Harris has made arguably the biggest strides this fall in that regard. Exceptional performance this past weekend for the talented forward.
