With the style of offense the Badgers run we really only need four receivers to contribute. The last five years we have had exactly 2 recievers catch over 20 passes, so that gives us that third man plus some injury depth.
I believe Toon and Appleton should be solid, and I like what I saw from Duckworth and what I have heard about Williams. Williams taking a RS I think gives us some flexibility here. While I think it is smart to not have to depend on freshman, we have gotten good contributions lately (Toon, Gilreath, Jefferson). I am still with you on this though, we need one more WR, no question about it, maybe two more if we don't land a top flight guy.

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."
