Quarterback Dwight Macon (Steubenville, Ohio) is coming off a great junior season. He passed for 1,600 yards and 14 touchdowns, while rushing for another 12 touchdowns. Macon led Steubenville to a 12-1 record.
He has scholarship offers from Kansas State, Kansas, Wyoming, Bowling Green, Ball State, Toledo and Central Michigan. He said he is looking at all of those schools as well as Iowa.
"Most of the schools are recruiting me as a quarterback, but some as an athlete," Macon said.
At the top of Macon's list are Ball State, Toledo and Bowling Green.
"I'm going to decide when the season starts or soon after," Macon said.
