Mosley went through all the drills Saturday and showed why he's considered one of the elite players in the state.

"I just wanted to get a little workout in and see where I'm at right now," Mosley said.

Mosley has scholarship offers from Tulsa and Louisiana Tech and is headed to Knoxville, Tenn., today to participate in a football camp at the University of Tennessee.

"It's going real good," Mosley said of the recruiting process. "I have also been to Ole Miss, Tulsa, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia Tech. I just need to work on my speed and get that down."

Mosley is a versatile recruit who could play tight end or on the defensive line or offensive line. Mosley said he's in no hurry to make a decision on a school.

"I want to go to a place that feels like home when you get there and also has good academics," Mosley said.

Sleeper tight end / offensive lineman Dakota Mosley told affiliate Web site AuburnUndercover.com, "I'm up here in Illinois right now for a camp, and I'm enjoying it. The campus was nice. but you can tell it's a lot older than Auburn. Other than that, there's not a whole lot of difference with this visit and others I've been on."

"But Auburn's going to still be my No. 1 even after I leave here. They've been my No. 1 for a while now and I don't see that changing even after this visit."

"I like everything about Auburn. The coaching staff is really great and I like they way they handle the whole recruiting process. I like the campus and the atmosphere - really just everything about Auburn is nice."
