I didn't think Blair and Hansbrough were realistic. Blair was really plummeting on account of the ACLs and Hansbrough went much higher than expected. I do think Hansbrough will be better than Jennings as a Udonis Haslem type, and that's better than a negative player in my eyes, but then again that doesn't mean I think Hansbrough would have been the better pick. Jennings' selfishness could produce some good stats, and in turn trade value, in the interim ala Stephon Marbury. Before he got exposed after teams he left improved. New Jersey got Jason Kidd for that loser.

As far as Redd and Gadzuric go, they aren't preventing the Bucks from doing anything really now that they cleared Replacement Level Rich. It's not like high priced free agents are clammoring to come to Milwaukee. Any free agent who would benefit us would have to be a lower priced steal ala Billups to Detroit in '02, Ariza to LAL in '08, etc.

But I agree that now doesn't matter much in Milwaukee. The Bucks need to acquire foundation pieces or trade fodder to get them. And they could have given them the best chance to accomplish that by drafting BPA. If they truly did that, then I at least applaud them from a strategy standpoint. But I kind of doubt it given who they worked out. And BJ might be a guy who Senator Kohl fell in love with in his courtside seat at a workout (he supposedly showcased himself well) and forced the pick upon his GM. Other teams were concerned that they didn't have enough game film to evaluate him on....but that's never stopped the Bucks before.
