Recruiting has been moderate lately. I did get an offer from Purdue, to go along with Illinois, Arkansas and Florida International. It was exciting to get offered by another Big 10 school.

I've heard a lot about Purdue, but hadn't really looked at them until they offered me. Now, I will, and that will be interesting.

It seems like Indiana is pretty close to offering me and so is Rutgers.

I wanted to go to Florida to watch the spring game, but I have a family situation that's come up and I can't go. Their coach [Scot Loeffler] that recruits this area called me, and I called him back, but haven't heard back from him.

I'm still getting letters from FSU, but nothing from Miami.

This spring, I know coaches will be coming to our practices. It will be important for me to perform well and give them a show.

I'm trying to get to 210 pounds, but it's a slow process. I'm at around 195 right now.
