The football recruiting rush for Cretin-Derham Hall's 6-foot-8, 300-pound junior lineman Seantrel Henderson has begun in earnest this spring.
This year, the NCAA is prohibiting head college coaches from visiting high schools. So on Monday, the Gophers had three assistants at Cretin-Derham Hall. No contact with recruits is allowed, but assistants can chat with Raiders head coach Mike Scanlan, who also is a guidance counselor.
Besides the Gophers on Monday, assistants from UCLA and Michigan visited the St. Paul school. Last week, Wisconsin and Oklahoma made visits.
On Wednesday, Notre Dame, Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State and Georgia will be at Cretin-Derham Hall.
