Andre can do it all on the football field as this film will show. Right off the bat, you will see his big time burst of speed as he leaves defenders in the dust. Whether it's out of the backfield or lined up at WR, he is a threat to take it the distance at any time. If that's not enough, Givens is more than willing to step up and play defense. Big hits and interceptions should become routine as this play maker grows up. At 5-9, 175 pounds, it will be interesting to see how the weight room improves his development over the next few seasons. It's hard to predict what position this kid will end up playing in college because right now he is so effective all over the field. Andre Givens is one to watch in the class of 2010.

Jay Paterno Working Ohio For Juniors

Posted Today at 16:20 by kurelicscorner
Jay Paterno stopped at Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney on Monday and offered a scholarship to cornerback/running back Braylon Heard. Paterno also recently stopped at Hubbard to take a look at running back Andre Givens and wide receiver/defensive back Kurtis Drummond. Paterno's other northeast Ohio stops included Warren Harding to check on athlete Mike Dorsey and linebacker Davion Rogers.
