Goodrich quarterback moving to Saline

Quote:
The 6-foot-6, 200-pound junior confirmed Saturday he is moving with his family to the Washtenaw County town south of Ann Arbor and plans to be there in time for the second semester later this month.

Boisture said his father is moving his business there but also said football was a factor in the decision. Saline is a 1,759-student Class A school that plays football in Division 1. Goodrich played last year in Division 4, going 10-1 and reaching the second round of the playoffs.

"Saline is a great program that plays great competition week in and week out," Boisture said. "They play the best of the best, and that will help me get ready for college."

Boisture has scholarship offers from Boston College, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Wisconsin so far.

"It's going to be tough leaving Goodrich," he said. "I've made a lot of good friends and have good memories. Last year we went undefeated for the first time in school history. That was pretty cool, doing something that's never been done."

A pro-style quarterback, Boisture passed for 1,700 yards and 13 touchdowns in his first varsity season last fall. He missed his sophomore year with an elbow injury.
