NY2LA Sports

Quote:
2010 F Flavien Davis (left) and the undefeated and top ranked Wisconsin Lutheran program faces a huge test this Saturday January 24, 2009 when they host William Chrisman High School of Missouri as part of the 2009 NY2LA Sports Extravaganza at Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisconsin. Last week we reported that Davis has really been on top of his game and schools like Northwestern, Drake, Miami (FL), Indiana State, UW-Green Bay, Oregon State, and Creighton have expressed an interest in him in recent months. He'll need to bring that solid play to the table this weekend as William Chrisman heads to Milwaukee with Illinois State bound sharpshooter Justin Clark and forward Jon Ekey leading the way.

Wisconsin Lutheran has been at the top of their game this year as they currently stand at 9-0 and are ranked #1 in the state of Wisconsin for Division 2 schools. While Davis has obviously been a major factor in Lutheran's success this year, first year head coach Ryan Walz has done an excellent job of putting together a balanced and discipline attack across the board. Yet as good as Lutheran has played so far this year they face their biggest test of the season this weekend as they will host a tough hard nosed Oconomowoc team on Friday night before following that up with a showdown against the up-tempo scoring machine of William Chrisman. Both games promise to be some very tough contests so Davis & Co. will need to be at the top of their game both nights if they expect to head into next weekend unscathed.
