Update on key players' performances:
Iowa State's Diante Garrett- 10.9 pts, 6.1 asts, 5.1 rebs (I saw him play yesterday and was very impressed with his court vision. One of the only catalysts for the Cyclone offense. Also, while he is susceptible to getting backed down a little because of his weight, overall he's a plus defender because of his effort and lateral quickness which is stopping penetration. He would be helping the Badgers at shooting guard right now).
Louisville's Jerry Smith- 8.3 pts (hard to figure why his PT has declined so dramatically when he's been such an efficient offensive player posting a 1.56 points per shot. That would be sweet if he was alienated by Pitino and transferred back in state for his senior year where he always belonged ala Chambliss).
Northern Iowa's Adam Koch- 11.4 pts, 5.2 rebs (saw him play for about 10-15 minutes last night. Was pretty impressed with him. Reminded me of a mid major version of Jon Leuer. Would have been in the rotation for the Badgers probably.)
North Dakota State's Mike Nelson- 14.5 pts, 4.2 rebs
Western Illinois' David Dubois- 17 pts, 5.8 rebs
Loyola's J.R. Blount- 15.1 pts, 4 asts, 3.2 rebs
Central Michigan's Jacolby Hardiman- 11.7 pts, 6.7 rebs
UWM's Tone Boyle- 14.3 pts
UWM's Avery Smith- 11.4 pts, 4.7 rebs, 2.6 asts
UWGB's Troy Cotton- 13.4 pts
UWGB's Mike Schactner- 11.7 pts, 4 rebs
Evansville's James Haarsma- 9 pts, 5.3 rebs
Loyola's Andy Polka- 8.7 pts, 6.6 rebs
St. Louis' Kwamain Mitchell- 7.1 pts, 4 asts
