Shankle Down To Three

DB Terry Shankle (6-0 170) of Norwood, NC says he has narrowed his list to three schools. They are Tennessee, North Carolina, and NC State. Shankle took an official visit to Tennessee back in Spetember when Alabama-Birmingham was in town. He really enjoyed the visit. "It's nice there," said Shankle. "They have great tradition and great fans. I loved the atmosphere." He says he will take unoffcial visits to UNC and NC State before deciding. "I want to make sure I choose the right school," he said. Shankle says he's not sure if he take any other official visits and plans to announce his decision in either late November or early December. Shankle likes the two in-state schools and says both have recruited him the longest and the hardest. He also likes the new coaching staffs at each school and sees both programs "turning things around."
