Linebacker Will Studlien (Sunbury, Ohio/Big Walnut) has also yet to select a college. An injury has complicated the process. Studlien had an outstanding junior season but injured his left knee in April playing rugby. He had reconstructive surgery and missed the first two games this season. Studlien returned to action last weekend and had an excellent game, making close to 20 tackles.
Studlien landed an early scholarship offer from Illinois but said he has not heard much from the Illini recently. He has offers from Northwestern, Cincinnati and Miami of Ohio.
"I'm going to Northwestern on an unofficial visit this weekend," Studlien said. "I'll probably schedule an official visit to Miami of Ohio and I'll get down to Cincinnati for a game."
